I had a giggle at this one!

This takes me back quite a few years. I had been drafted in by a friend to help her babysit a set of twins. She did not tell me beforehand that at that time they were both teething.

You can imagine the picture of someone with no previous experience of babies, as the youngest in my own family, being terrified when I was left holding one twin in each arm, both crying and whaling to maximum effect, while my friend went to fetch something to ease their discomfort. I was relieved that it worked fairly rapidly.

Thankfully, mobile phones had not been invented then or I can imagine that the action would have been captured on video for all to see!

It is a wonder that I was not put off kids for life!
